First established in 2006, the Bellevue Challenge Course and Zip Tour is a partnership between Parks & Community Services and Northwest Teambuilding The professional challenge course facilitators and zip line guides at Northwest Teambuilding are focused on delivering effective, quality experiences for all participants, and operates all programs at the Bellevue Challenge Course & Zip Tour on behalf of Bellevue Parks & Community Services. Located on the lid of the West Seattle Reservoir, and next to the Westcrest off-leash area, is where you will find the newer expanded Westcrest Park In addition to a new playground, dueling zip lines, walking paths and panoramic views of the city, this park has five different slides designed to fit every type of daredevil.
Good to know: Meydenbauer Bay Park is part of the city's vision of a Grand Connection which will include a pedestrian corridor that is planned to extend east through downtown Bellevue, and eventually across Interstate 405 to the Eastside Rail Corridor.
This park is also located on the banks of the Missouri River, about 6.4 km from Ponca. Whether you're visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Bellevue, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer. Sometimes, people want RV camping by Omaha that is a no-frills, out-in-nature experience.
The park will be operated by TreeRush, which will share proceeds with Fontenelle Forest. Bring the whole family to run, walk, jog or stroll in the Commitment Day 5K. This event is open to members and nonmembers of Life Time. Forest Park provides kids with a bevy of kid-friendly activities, including a sprayground where kids can splash the day away (it also has an area perfect for toddlers).
Spend a day at a family fun center. The park features an asphalt walking trail, children's playground and campsites. Tubing & Adventures was featured in the 2016 Olympic Swim Trials brochure as being one of the top 10 fun things Zipline Park to do in Omaha. As visitors make their way through the forest on the boardwalk, they can catch a glimpse of the river and Omaha treasures including the Woodmen Tower and the Desert Dome at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium.
The Bellevue Challenge Course & Zip Tour and South Bellevue Community Center are located in Eastgate Park, 14509 SE Newport Way, across from the Newport Way Library. Fontenelle Forest, at 1111 Bellevue Blvd. The park will have a main adventure area that's designed for adults and older children, and a kids park that's designated for children ages 4 to 6. Some of the park's courses will take climbers higher than 50 feet.
