Prayers For Peace
Peace of mind or inner peace is a state when your brain is free from the thoughts of distress. He found a way to connect ministry and medicine: the two things he felt called to. Arriving early at his office, he would pray for his patients while burning incense, shaking rattles and gourds and invoking healing powers in a manner similar to many shamans and healers.
There have been times when it feels like I have a direct connection to heaven, like God is able to hear my request before it's even made and immediately answer me. But other prayers seem to be met with silence from my Heavenly Father, requiring patient waiting before His answer will be revealed.
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that powerful prayers man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord (Deuteronomy 8:1-3, emphasis mine).
Almighty God, the Great Thumb we cannot evade to tie any knot, the Roaring Thunder that splits mighty trees, the all-seeing Lord on high who sees even the footprints of an antelope on a rock mass here on Earth, you are the one who does not hesitate to respond to our call.
The discipline of formal prayer and chanting is practiced in every religion around the world and is becoming more widely recognized in the West for its ability to affect health, success, mental clarity and other life issues such as overcoming fear, habits, grief and anger.
In the midst of illness, God, I pause to give you thanks: for the glory of creation, which reveals in many forms your matchless beauty; for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus our Savior; for your gift of my life and the presence of the Holy Spirit; for loved ones who care for me; and for the companionship of the Church.
These prayer warriors of all time, helped so many people transform their lives through Praying Power, and some of the comments from people around the world who have experienced changes include statements like "overwhelming and compelling prayer publications", "The words of truth", "This is timeless dynamite that goes straight to the point" and so on.
Almighty, everlasting God, through Your only Son, our blessed Lord, You commanded us to love our enemies, to do good to those who hate us, and to pray for those who persecute us. Therefore we beg You to lead our enemies to true repentance, that they may have the same love toward us as we have toward them, and be of one accord and of one mind and heart with us and with Your whole Church; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Remember always that you can have complete confidence in coming before the throne of the Lord Almighty: This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him” (1 John 5:14-15).
