Our CBI Health Center offers Physiotherapy and MVA Rehabilitation services on Bayview Avenue in Richmond Hill. However, if your extended health care provider doesn't allow direct billing, Richmond Hill Physical Therapy you will need to pay for your visit upfront and our staff will give you the official receipt necessary for submission as well as repayment depending on the specifics of your coverage.
Physiotherapists are primary health care professional (regulated by provincial and federal authority) who helps individual suffering from any type of pain, injury, disability or injury through manual therapy, exercise and movement, providing sufficient education and advice to individual.



Referrals and reference check: Once your family doctor has established the type of physiotherapy you require, make sure that the physiotherapist you will be dealing with has completed an accredited physiotherapy program in your province or territory.
Melissa Wong obtained her Masters of Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University in 2011 after graduating from the University of Waterloo's Honours Co-op Kinesiology program in 2009. She is registered with the college of physiotherapists of Ontario. The Athlete's Care team consists of Toronto sports medicine doctors and specialists that have been involved with the care of athletes at the highest levels of competition.

This injury can cause pain during physical activities that require bending of the knee. We have 16 orthopedic rehabilitation beds that provide a time limited coordinated, interprofessional rehabilitation plan of care ranging from low to high intensity. Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Our clinic's multidisciplinary team of health professionals is comprised of: eight physiotherapists, a registered massage therapist and a chiropodist (foot specialist). Providing physiotherapy care and rehabilitation programs for work and sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents and sprains, and strains.

She is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association - acupuncture, pain science and neuroscience divisions. The 2015 Opencare Patients' Choice Award for Physiotherapy in Toronto. In addition to pelvic health, her work experience includes outpatient orthopedics and pediatric physiotherapy (newborns to young adults).
We provide physiotherapy services under the Ontario Ministry of Health publicly funded model. Athlete's Care is a teaching facility for the Continuing Education Department of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto's Medical and Physiotherapy programs.
